RIISS00034 Surface Coal Mining Induction
Duration: 2 days (full course) 1 day (refresher course)
The Surface Coal Mining (Std11 compliant) Induction provides both experienced and inexperienced workers from across industries with a pathway from which they can enter the Qld coal mining industry.
The Std11 induction course is suitable for anyone currently working in or wanting to enter the Qld coal mining industry for the first time.
The induction provides training and assessment for the Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII) Units of Competency which are specified in Recognised Standard 11, Training in Coal Mines (Qld Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999).
The six (6) units in the induction can be used towards completion of more advanced courses such as RII20215 Certificate II in Surface Extraction Operations.
The Std 11 induction is the most universally accepted induction program in mining operations throughout Qld.
Each participant that is deemed competent at the end of the 2 day course will receive a Statement of Completion from Em-Care Pty Ltd (RTO 32509) plus a site verification log book (to be completed on site).
